Dear Friend,
Rep. Ben Smaltz had the opportunity to schedule a hearing for THIS MORNING on Curt Nisly’s Life bill, but he squandered his chance once again.
Rep. Curt Nisly’s Protection at Conception bill, HB 1097, has been sitting on Smaltz’s desk for almost two weeks, and yet, he hasn’t added “saving babies” to his list of things to do.
According to Vice Chair of Public Policy, Rep. Timothy Wesco, “legislators are prioritizing important issues this year.”
So what exactly is more important than a bill which would end the slaughter of innocent pre-born babies, Mr. Wesco?
These men, along with others on the Public Policy Committee, have chosen to shelve Rep. Nisly’s bill. This committee has personally taken responsibility to pave the way for twenty Hoosier babies to be murdered every day in the state of Indiana.
Time is running out for Hoosier babies this year, my friend. Your “pro-life” Republican legislators could end abortion now if they wanted to. If Smaltz kills the Protection at Conception bill again, nearly 8,000 pre-born babies will die this year alone.
REMINDER! If Smaltz kills this bill and the rest of Public Policy lets him, please don’t listen to their “pro-life” rhetoric this primary. Let their actions speak their convictions.
Please don’t wait. Call Ben and Tim. Tell them to make room for the babies.

Urge Smaltz and Wesco to make room to hear Curt Nisly's Protection at Conception bill, HB1097.
For LIFE,
Amy Schlichter
Executive Director
P.S. Rep. Ben Smaltz squandered his opportunity to hear HB 1097 today. This “pro-life” Republican has not prioritized the killing of innocent babies. Since they are complicit in burying Rep. Nisly’s bill, the entire Public Policy committee bears responsibility if Protection at Conception dies.
Time is running out to get a hearing and a vote on HB 1097. Call Ben and Tim. Tell them to make room for the babies.
