BREAKING: Speaker of the House, Brian Bosma, to Kill Pro-life Bill

I can’t believe I’m having to write this to you ALREADY, but I found out something you NEED to know about.
National Leaders have reported to Hoosiers for Life that House Speaker Brian Bosma plans to kill bills protecting the unborn this coming legislative session.
When I heard this, I was deeply concerned, and you should be too. The 2018 legislative session hasn’t even begun yet, and we are getting reports that Indiana pro-life Republican leadership is ALREADY PLANNING TO KILL PRO-LIFE BILLS!
As much as I would love to shrug this off as just a common opinion, it is quite believable. Last year, prior to the legislative session, Speaker Bosma made it clear he didn’t want to deal with protecting babies in the womb.
He said, “We deal with these every session...You guys ought to be focusing on the stuff that’s really important.”
Saving Hoosier babies is not really important, Mr. Bosma?! Raising gas taxes is important to the House Speaker, but the fact that baby boys and girls are ripped apart or poisoned every single day in our state is NOT REALLY IMPORTANT? This is an OUTRAGE!
Governor Holcomb’s attitude toward saving babies was not much better: “I will be squarely focused on our legislative agenda. That’s what I’ll be focused on, not potential bills that aren’t related to taking this state to the next level.” And this year, Governor Holcomb is more interested in fireflies than stopping abortion. As much as I would like to say we are surprised...we are not. The lack of leadership inour state for the preborn is evident and has been for quite some time.
Well, my friend, it is time for that to change.
The Protection at Conception Bill, authored by Curt Nisly, would save every baby in Indiana from abortion. It is coming soon, and while reports are that Bosma intends to kill pro-life bills this session, there is still time for him to change his mind.
PLEASE contact your legislator and demand that they support the Protection at Conception bill, which will be filed this session. I am NOT giving up on my pre-born neighbor, and I know you won’t either. That’s why I’m counting on you to contact your legislator today and let them know you support ending abortion in Indiana.
You CAN make a difference in the lives of Hoosier babies. Thank you for speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
